Schleich ----- A nice looking model, though with a too wide rostrum and too slender body. Made of a rubbery material. Retired since 2009, but not that hard to find. Length 19,5 cm

Larami ----- An accurate model of a right whale? Not really. Lots of character? Definitely. Length 24 cm

Papo ----- A surprisingly small model but with a lot of detail and good anatomy. Length 13 cm

Maia & Borges ----- For a while this might have been the best model of a right whale until Papo and CollectA both released fantastic right whales in 2023. The rostrum is narrow and it has a nice rotund body. Eyes are a bit weird though. Like the Papo, this is a small model. Length 14 cm

Colorata ----- A lovely little figure by this Japanese company. Comes with a stand from which the figure is easily removed. Great detail and anatomy. Length 11,5 cm

AAA ----- Ehm, well, I guess this is a right whale of some kind. It reminds me of a 17th century painting of a whaling scene. Length 21 cm

Safari ltd ----- A big heavy model. Good sculpt, but there are better right whales out there in my opinion. Length 24 cm

Recur ----- A large soft model which seems to no longer be made by Recur. The same model is still found online, but I am not sure if these are copies or Recur sold the mould. In any case this is not a bad right whale, the head is pretty accurate, but the paint job is a little bit strange... Length 31 cm
